Experts in nanotechnology, biotechnology and clinical practice of the three main hubs nano researching on cancer in the South of Europe (Barcelona, Toulouse and Lyon) will meet in Montpellier next 28th and 29th of January 2010 during the Clinical Applications of Nanotechnologies in the field of Cancer Day. These day sessions will foster multidisciplinary collaboration, especially when referred to transferring knowledge to clinical practice, and are addressed to researchers and members of the clinical and technological communities.

The sessions will also include presentations of success stories that prove how diagnoses and treatments based on nanotechnology are already working and most innovative techniques are already available. Clinical problems needing creative solutions will also be brought up and the space will facilitate that participants share necessary aspects to make clinical transfer more effectively.

The meeting is organized by the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC), the Cancéropôle Lyon Auvergne Rhône-Alpes and the Cancérôpole Grand Sud-Ouest of Toulouse, with the support of the InnaBioSanté Foundation and the Spanish NanoMedicine Platform.
