Information session on the Eurostar Program for financing research projects by small and medium-sized companies
The agency ACC1Ó, in collaboration with the Center for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI, in Catalan) and the Spanish Association of Bioenterprises (ASEBIO, in Spanish), has organized an information session on the new open call for the Eurostars Program, to be held on 16 December.
The session will be the only one of its kind in Spain. It is aimed at businesspeople representing small and medium-sized companies from all sectors. Participation by companies from biotech, biomedical and medial technology sectors has grown considerably.
Eurostars was the first European network of national organizations from each member state dedicated to funding projects by small and medium-sized companies. It aims to stimulate leadership in collaborative R&D projects.
The present call, which closes on 25 February 2010, was launched by 32 agencies representing various European countries to finance projects from all areas of technology that imply development of a new product, process or service. Within Spain, the financing scheme has been established by the CDTI, the Spanish representative in the Eurostars Program. The participating countries comprise: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK.
Interested companies can request a personalized interview to address any questions or concerns or to receive consulting on projects considered for submission.
