Talència presents fourth annual course for Technical Experts in European R&D Project Management
This course will teach participants strategies to successfully manage and implement projects from the EU’s 7FP.
The course for Technical Experts in European R&D Project Management, offered for the fourth year by Talència –an organization from the Department of Innovation, Universities and Enterprise devoted to fostering research in Catalonia– aims to provide managers at Catalan research organizations with the knowledge they need regarding drafting proposals, technical and financial management, and making the most of results from projects carried out under the European Union’s 7th Framework Program (FP).
The course is made up of seven modules, lasting a total of 80 hours, to be held between October and December 2010. The teaching staff includes mostly research management experts from Catalan universities with extensive experience in the EU’s FP. The course will be given at the University of Barcelona, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the Pompeu Fabra University, the Ramon Llull University and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

The course also offers participants the option of a two-day stay in Brussels, with visits to European Commission officers and other support institutions like the European Executive Agency (REA) and the Delegation of the Government of Catalonia before the European Union.
