Laura Diéguez

Laura is responsible for the publications produced by the organisation. This includes defining, creating and managing the different content developed by Biocat: news, interviews and sector reports that highlight the potential of Catalonia’s life sciences and health ecosystem, as well as content covering the different activities, projects and programmes that Biocat organises or takes part in.

She is also responsible for sustainability and for all the organisation’s media relations, which requires the ability to detect news opportunities and risks, as well as to provide journalists with the best information about the BioRegion of Catalonia and Biocat. 

She holds a degree in Journalism and specialises in corporate communication and health. She has been working for more than 15 years in different organisations and sector-specific communication agencies. In her free time, you will find her crossing lush valleys, traversing glacial rivers and reaching iconic peaks in the Pyrenees.
