2025 BioRegion Report Presentation
On February 19, 2026, the presentation of the 2025 BioRegion of Catalonia Report will take place at the L’Illa Auditorium in Barcelona.
The event will feature institutional representation from the Government of Catalonia, a presentation of the key indicators of the BioRegion, and several roundtable discussions. Published since 2009 by Biocat, it is the official and reference report for the life sciences and health sector in Catalonia.

On February 19, 2026, the presentation event of the 2025 BioRegion of Catalonia Report will take place in Barcelona.
The report has established itself as the most comprehensive and solid analysis of innovation indicators in health and international competitiveness of a strategic sector for Catalonia. The publication offers an integral approach to the state and evolution of the ecosystem's main assets, reviewing macroeconomic indicators, business activity, investment, innovation, and research, as well as international comparisons, which objectively position Catalonia in the rankings and help identify challenges and trends.
Barcelona Health Innovation Week 2026
The BioRegion Report will mark the kickoff of the 4th edition of the Barcelona Health Innovation Week, from February 16 to 19, 2026, a week dedicated to innovation, acceleration, technology, and transformation in the health sector. From presentations, talks, debates, and webinars to networking activities, there will be multiple events each day organized by different entities from the BioRegion, showcasing the potential and impact of the life sciences and health ecosystem based in Barcelona.
