The Barcelona Medical Association (COMB), Barcelona Activa, Keiretsu Forum and Biocat are co-organizing the eleventh Healthcare Barcelona Investment Forum on 20 November 2013. The Healthcare Barcelona Investment Forum is a meeting place for companies with projects in biotechnology, medical devices, healthcare services and health-related information technology and investors interested in the sector.
In 2012 and 2013 the Keiretsu international network of investors has provided capital for 16 life sciences companies. More than one hundred investors from the IESE network participated in the latest edition of the Healthcare Barcelona Investment Forum, held in June during the MIHealth hospital innovation congress.
Any type of company (early stage) or team with innovative business-development projects in the aforementioned areas can submit an application through 28 October.
A selection committee made up of members of the organizing bodies and experts from the fields of health and private investment will vote to choose the ten best projects from among those duly submitted before the deadline.
More information and registration (either to present a project or to attend the Forum as an investor or as part of the general public) are available on the COMB website.
