ICEX offers travel grants for companies attending Biotech Showcase 2015

Under the framework of the 2015 internationalization plan for the Spanish biotechnology sector, which is being coordinated by ASEBIO, ICEX is launching a call for participation for Spanish companies interested in the upcoming edition of Biotech Showcase, which will be held in San Francisco from 12 to 14 January 2015.
This event, jointly organized by the EBD Group and Demy-Colton Life Science Advisors, attracts nearly 1,700 delegates from biotechnology firms, executives from pharmaceutical companies and investors from around the world. It is one of the top partnering events focused on investment in the life sciences sector.
The partnering opportunities will allow Spanish companies to hold private meetings with investors and other participating companies, as well as presenting their business plan to an audience of investors, after passing a pre-screening process.
The ICEX grant is for a maximum of €1,170 per company meeting the requirements to offset travel expenses. The deadline to submit applications is 13 December.
Furthermore, ASEBIO members get a $200 discount off the regular registration price.
Additionally, Biotech Showcase 2015 coincides with the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference 2015, one of the most important meetings of life sciences investors in the world. This will give companies ample opportunity to network with investors.
