International projection of the BioRegion of Catalonia was bolstered in 2025 with prominent presence at major events, strategic forums and networking spaces with global health innovation ecosystems. This positioning helped raise awareness of the sector’s capabilities, attract opportunities and strengthen international partnerships.
Through initiatives like the BioRegion Report, Barcelona Health Innovation Week, BIOSPAIN 2025 and participation in international fairs and delegations, Biocat helped position Catalonia as a competitive, connected hub with the capacity to influence in Europe and the world.

BIOSPAIN 2025 held in Barcelona
It achieved a significant scale, with 2,400 attendees, 1,065 participating organizations, delegations from 34 countries, 4,500 partnering meetings and 250 exhibitors.
BioRegion takes part in major international fairs and forums
Biocat promoted and supported Catalan participation in leading events like the BIO International Convention, 4YFN, RESI Europe Barcelona and Health Tech Forward.
